We used SPS Contracting to renovate two bathrooms. They were able to build a large walk-in shower in the master bathroom, install a double sink vanity, install flooring, mirrors, lighting and then painting the rooms. We are pleased with the results. Ed, Jesus, and Tyler were all working on this project. They were responsive to my questions and addressed any issues that I had. The communications between us was very good.

I cannot recommend SPS & Contracting enough. When we first started our search for a GC to build our 3 room addition we did not really know where to start. We met with a few & Ed really separated himself quickly & that quality of work ethic showed in every step of the project. Arrived on time, worked long hours, & my family loves our new addition. They added a new concrete slab, framed the addition, tied into the roof in an innovative way to give me more storage height, ordered custom double doors within the budget that worked out great, and hit their schedule. They were on time every day, worked hard and kept my driveway and area clean each day. Don't hesitate to call Ed for any project you have. He will pull it all together and stay close to you during the entire project. He comes often and works with his guys so you can work through changes with him easily. Our home was built in the 70s so we've had some hiccups with connecting electrical and the plumbing but Ed and his electrician Jesus and the Plumbers have worked with the county, HOA and us to get it all taken care of in a timely and equitable manner. They know what they're doing and they get right to it. I found SPS and Contracting on a lark and so glad I did, the only contractor I found that built from the ground up backyard cottages were on the other side of town. Ed is local and super easy to work with! He's even been able to roll with a few last minute changes and indecision on our part. He and his team have taken into consideration my father's age and ability to get around throughout the design. And we aren't quite done yet. I'll post finished pics next chance I get.

Ed Venegas and his crew did a front and back exterior makeover on our house. We added shingled awnings (a total of 5)! They repaired issues they found and completely painted our home. Everyday neighbors stop and compliment their work. Needless to say, Ed will be our contractor on future interior remodeling. Great job!

Tyler was asked to replace a window seat with an expensive hardwood, naturally finished. His work is the finest that can be expected by me, a long-time woodworker who is now just too old to do it myself. Naturally, I'm fussy. Tyler is excellent, timely, trustworthy. Hire him for just about anything large or small. It's always about "if" a contractor will do the job. And if you want the best at a fair price..... hire this guy.

Ed Venegas and his entire crew did a fantastic job building our new deck. They were very professional in every aspect of the project. I had a basic plan and idea of how I wanted it to look like and they made suggestions along the way at what the thought would work and look better and I could not be any happier with the final project. My wife and I had a nifty, but poorly designed, loft room that was added to our house years before we purchased it. The loft could never stay cool and the loft stairs were an extreme waste of floor space. We spent years living with our poorly designed loft mainly because we had no idea of exactly how we wanted to change the design. We met with several contractors and no one seemed up for the challenge. Clearly we had an unconventional remodeling project. When Ed from SPS Contracting met with us, he listened to what we wanted to accomplish and provided ideas. He clearly seemed up for the challenge and helped us form a plan. We were provided with a detailed estimate that outlined, step-by-step, what would be needed to reach our remodeling goals. Ed also enlisted HVAC & insulation specialists that turned our loft into the coldest room in our house. Not long after we began the loft project, I asked Ed if he could take on another project to remodel our garage. Ed stepped up to that challenge, as well. Again, providing a detailed estimate of all aspects of the garage remodel which included; installing an epoxy floor, sheetrock repair, painting, moving plumbing and electrical lines, new lighting and constructing a new storage space in the attic over the garage. Ed’s work crew was extremely professional and worked hard to clean up both construction areas at the end of each day. Lastly, both projects were completed in a timely manner and on budget.

I was referred to SPS through a friend who was happy with their services. They did various projects around my home including installing a wood beam in our pitched ceiling, a new ceiling fan off the beam, redoing our bathroom, and installing pantry and closet doors. They also replaced some siding pieces that had dry rot.

I found them to be very upfront, honest, punctual, and able to stick to the timeline they gave us in the beginning. I was very happy with the work that they did and would not hesitate to not only use them again myself, but you also recommend their services to my friends and family.

March 2021 - Ed and his team did a great job on our bathroom remodel project. They completed cabinets, counters, sinks, freestanding tub, expanded and tiled the shower, lights, mirrors, and pain + 3 upstairs sink cabs/counters/faucets. All was done within budget and with great communication and working with us on the items we provided. Great experience and I highly recommend!

Outstanding performance in meeting my needs to replace an existing wooden deck. This included demolition, constructing new framing and placing the wood deck boards, and sitting benches. The new deck was over 640 sq. ft. Tyler and Eric are very skilled. Their attention to detail is very satisfactory. Both guys are easy to talk to, answered all my questions, and stayed on schedule. I contacted SPS Contracting to get a quote on a reconstruction job of my garage, guest room and laundry area, the work will also include a bit of remodeling work in the kitchen and updating the living room. Mr. Ed came out the next morning and appeared to be very honest and knowledgeable. He even pitched wonderful ideas while we discuss the work which was very helpful. Later that evening Mr. Ed gave us the copy of the proposal and the deal was done. In contrast, the last (2) contractors that we requested for quote took (2) weeks to give us their numbers. Mr. Ed and his crew began working on the job and they move swiftly, we appreciate that they ensure the place is clean and try minimizing the noise as much as they can as at that time, I am working from home. They always clean up after each workday, trash is removed and all tools were kept in one place, ready for the next day. The job was initially scheduled to be done in 3 weeks, but Mr. Ed and his crew kept pushing forward that they were able to finish 4 days early, and that includes all the change orders! My wife and I were impressed with Mr. Ed and his crews’ work ethics, they took great pride in their work and it showed! SPS Contracting is a great and easy company to work with. They are composed of great people that are very honest, respectful and that take great pride in their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.
